What makes it worth the price

Le Sirenuse occupies a beautifully restored 18th-century noble villa perched high above the beach in Positano, with unobstructed views across the Tyrrhenian Sea. The Sersale family has owned and run it since 1951 — when they decided their summer home was too beautiful to keep to themselves.

The result is something that feels genuinely different from a standard luxury hotel: intimate, art-filled, and effortlessly stylish. The rooftop pool and the terrace bar are among the most photographed spots on the Amalfi Coast. The candlelit restaurant La Sponda is widely considered one of southern Italy's finest.

It attracts everyone from design-conscious couples to well-travelled families. The staff-to-guest ratio is exceptional and the service has the warmth of a private house rather than the formality of a grand hotel.
